At The Courthouse, we believe that beer and wine should be appreciated every day and in the presence of great company. To help our community share the same appreciation that we feel, The Courthouse was opened in historic downtown Monroe, NC on December 10th, 2020.

As Monroe, NC's oldest and only self-pour beer and wine bar, we want to help our guests and community experience a variety of beer and wine. As such, our self-pour option allows guests to help themselves to our over 30 beer and wine offerings. Though we are a self-pour establishment, our presiding judge and Courthouse owner 'the honorable' Dean Stump and his staff, use their extensive knowledge of beer and wine to make the best recommendations for our guests.

Located at 101 W. Franklin St. across from the historic Old Union County Courthouse, we partner with local food trucks and restaurants provide a variety of foods to pair with our on-tap selection. So stop on by and check us out.
